These are turning out really nice.

I hate to say it...but I see this replacing my Bushcraft model next year as my 'go-to' design. It really is that nice.

I'm definitely going to do another run (probably more like 5-7 small runs of 30 knives or so)

I absolutely love how these are turning out.

Hope to see some JRE sheaths soon!! :eek:

this design is a winner.
I'd like to see a 6 inch version and a 4 inch version as well. and why not a 3 inch, a 7 inch and an 8 inch chopper??

Making smaller runs of different designs may be the best idea for now. The smaller numbers of them means less burn out while making them. Smaller batches may have a better chance at getting through waterjetting and other process faster and back to Dan quicker. It would also be less to have to keep track of at one time.

M4 would be a great steel to try out as well.
 
Yep -- M4 would be a good choice too. However, it is a high-performance non-stainless (like 3V) and personally I really hope the "next new thing" will be a ubber-performance stainless like S90V. That all said -- I'd buy an 4-5" "EDC" knife or 4" Bushmaster in M4 in a heartbeat.

4" would be nice and enough different to be a complement to the original. It would also make a handier EDC blade.
 
Dan, you need to put up some more in progress pics if you get a chance. It is always cool to see all the hard work you put in to make your knives.

Hey Dan -- last night I noticed that your order update page for this Bushmaster run has two duplicate lists -- one on top of the other. The bottom one appears to be the more up-to-date one...but perhaps you should check this and eliminate one of them so as to reduce the chance of confusion.

Ditto that. I don't know how long my knives were finished before I accidentally went to the bottom list that showed them finished?

Dan, I just P-pal'd you the difference on my bushmaster, I'm #26 on the budget 3V list. I would like a kydex sheath too with teklock, but don't know what that runs.

Please tell me the status of my order, which is #1 on the Budget list. If I am reading it correctly, it supposedly shipped 10 - 14 days ago, but I have not received it. Further, you have not responded to my PM.

Has it shipped? If so please provide a tracking number.
