Official RBK Picture Thread - Post Your BK21 Shots Here

i'll having tracings, weights, thicknesses, and stuff.

i for SOME reason don't have an epoxy version, but i'm sure it's close to the bead blasted blackjack...

blackjack and kabar versions seem to have the exact same spine, with the new one having a leeetle more belly towards the handle.

spines are different than the Seki model, and the profiles are similar, but not the same, tracings will show. need to find graph papers :D

weights... Seki feels heavier to me, and is slightly more thick, and is fully convexed. it's a monster. it's also big $$$ now, i'd buy another one, if i could find one. they came in 2-3 sizes and shapes too.

Big $$$ you got that right ! Seki floaten in the Bay .

but i found something EVEN BETTER :D

well, something i've wanted a long time.

Can't wait to see it.

it was a buy it now khukri, certain special thing. slow boat shipping means i might see it in 4 weeks. we'll see. probably more. maybe less.

something on my bucket list.

course, now i should be looking for something special ;)

though, having gone through the hoard, i realized, wow, i have a lot of stuff. only missing a couple items. no worries.

now with some numbers

KaBar First Generation: 22.30 ounces (out of box), 4.85 mm thick; 22.35 ounces (with liners)

BlackJack BeastBlast (Stainless?): 16.80 ounces, 3.18 mm thick

Hank Reinhardt Seki City Combat Khukri: 22.95 ounces, 5.01 thick

Nice acquisitions there! Is that a Boye riding on the scabbard of the Reinhardt?

So what you're saying... is a 13 or 14 will piggyback great on the 21? :D

I really love this blade. I can't even call it a 'knife'.
