wow, really cool!!! could you post a closeup of the area on the blade that shows the different materials? that looks so awesome. so is this sorta like a mokume covering a cutting core or is it a not layered sheath of metal? (only if you don't mind sharing of course, but i am always interested in how such things are built).

I received this knife today, and the pictures don't do it justice. Every which way you turn it shows a different sheen.
I was buying it for the beauty and uniqueness, and I only buy users. But after handling it, I will have to use it lightly. It fits the hand so well. Great work.
