All in all, if there are 15 knives I think the true HOGs should get 'em. There people here that are just plain awsome. If I can get enough store credit to get me a mistress I'd be more then happy.

15+ knives... For a bunch of cannibalistic wild hogs, piglets and scavengers... They should make a movie! :D It will be rated NC-17 though, because of the excessive and gratuitous violence and gore!
 
Very impressive giveaway.

I see people are asking for proxies. Im sure knives would be limited to one per person( I would hope). Would someone be willing to give up their free knife as a proxy for someone else? Also I hope these are marked somehow as "not for resale". Makes me sick to think some will show up on the exchange 24 hours after the winners recieve them.

Amen to that. Although I think fleabay would be just as likely a culprit.

Honestly, the idea of a proxy doesn't jive with the ganzaa feel to me. It's all about a race, and I would be kind of ticked off if the first guy to get his email in had requests for knives for ten different people, basically claiming the whole dang thing in one fell swoop.


The fun of ganzaa's is in the competition, the race, and the luck of it all. I'm a big fan of anything that keeps it all on a level playing field, as fair as possible for all involved.


I doubt I will score, as my hog-fu is lacking, but that's due to a lack of skill and speed on my part, not anyone else's doing.

I hear you on that one. This ganza isn't so people can snap up a busse and then sell it to make a quick buck, its to make the holidays much more merrier for people and more importantly so someone can have a knife with one heck of a story attached to it.

As for a proxy, I'm willing to help someone else out but I have a very strict rule...Me first :cool: after I'm taken care of I'll try and put in a good word for someone but beyond that no dice.

I'm in it for one knife or store credit, doesn't matter to me which it is. I'm just gunning to finally get my hands on my first busse, I had planned on using my x-mas bonus on a MS from the exchange but we found out that none of us were getting bonuses this year. :grumpy: So if I can get a knife I'll be super happy, or if I miss out on the knives and get store credit to help with the purchase of a Boss Street I'll be happy.

I'm just happy to even get the chance to try for something like this. If I could get my first busse and have it be free...well shoot I'd guess that would be a pretty darn good way to start out. I'll admit I've thought about if I were to score a larger busse trying to trade down infi for infi for something smaller like a MS (I really have a thing for the MS) but honestly I'd have to "test" a larger one a bit before I did that :D

Makes you wonder with this ganza if the bossman will nix proxies and make people sign a contract making them keep the blades for awhile before they could sell or trade them. I'm sure we will see a limit of one blade or store credit per household/member/hog/piglet
