or.... no one wanted to pay $5 shipping on top of what might have been local retail or higher? Besides, it had a carbon blade, NOT the unique, rare, desirable, and much soughtafter STAINLESS Sharpfinger I scarfed from my local Walmart on clearance!

I have to say that if any one Company would continue the traditional Schrade line, I would most like it to be Camillus. They worked hand-in-hand with Schrade on a lot of projects, even made a lot of our knives for us, when we needed them to, and if they are struggling the way it sounds like they are, they could sure use the leg up right about now. It would be nice if they can turn things around. In the meantime, I found a full display of Old Timer and Uncle Henry knives in a Mom and Pop store not too far away with no change in their last retail price listing. If anyone wants me to check on anything, just give a holler. Looked like mostly recent product, but it can't hurt to ask.
