Oh no! I have the sickness!

Very nice knife and I can empathize...A month ago I owned zero CRk knives. As of today, I have three sebenzas in my possession, one on the way and one mnandi on the way as well. Five CRK's in less than five weeks. OUCH!

The plains for me are elegant looking. The inlays, UG, CCG are quite beautiful, but it's the plain I carry the most.
Great CRK, enjoy it and make it yours with it's own personality.

Stay away from Busse's...please! More to chose from, and your sickness will only worsen!...;-)

Update: I finally got some time to take it apart and clean it:

First thing that is interesting: The pivot area is polished and smooth. Something you don't really notice until you take it apart. I'm glad they do this because it keeps the action smooth. I was also surprised how dirty it was after a couple weeks of EDC. That shiny area of the blade tang and those bronze washers were almost black when I first took it apart. The action was still pretty good prior to taking it apart though.

After cleaning, lubricating, and re-assembling, everything is good. The blade is still centered and no blade play. Also, the action is now the best it has ever been. I actually have to remember to use less force now because it flies open.

Lastly, I have to say that I prefer this steel for EDC. I don't think the edge holds quite as long as S35VN, but it is far easier to sharpen. A few swipes on fine ceramic and a stroke or two on a green compound strop will take it from tearing paper to push cutting through it as if it weren't there.

This will not be my last CRK, but I do believe this will get the most pocket time.

"Order Confirmation: Exclusive Chris Reeve Small Sebenza 21 Carbon Fiber - Insingo Blade"

Here we go again... I may have a problem...

Great picture of the knife apart. I've never taken down my Damascus, it's interesting to see. The small washer is different that the ones on my 21's and 25's.
Start to worry after about the 6th CRK you acquire, right now you're addicted, but treatable.
Enjoy the inbound CRK!!!!!

You know you have a problem when you look at your collection and realize you have over 600 years worth of CRK's :thumbup::thumbup:

Yes. Nice photo. I spent several minutes studying the details. The precision, the craftsmanship. What a treasure. The Mercedes Benz of folders? Thanks!...Cheers.

Wow. You know... I don't see a CF Sebbie in that photo. I happen to have one inbound. I could trade you it for... 5 or 6 of those ;)

Let's see, I give you the River of Fire, The Owl annual, the In Remembrance, a large Regular, the damascus UG done by Chris, and a BG-42 UG. Will that be enough? :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p

Oh, good. I was afraid you were going to make me throw in a Night Sky, too!

:D :D :D :D :D :D

I just assumed that was my Xmas present this year... :p

My tracking finally updated. It's out for delivery! I'm excited and nervous. I've never touched a small, insingo, or cf. It's practically a whole new knife for me

Made two weeks ago!

I think I'll start this out with why I bought this particular knife: It's a 21, but it's the exact opposite of my other two. Different blade style, different size, and vastly different weight. Curiosity killed my bank account. :p

First impressions:

Blade: The insingo blade looks much better in person. I think it looks better than the standard clip point. I'll see how I like it in use tomorrow. Also, this the sharpest knife I've ever received from the factory. Hair popping and extremely scary.

Dimensions: I always imagined the small being too... small. Turns out, the small is a perfect fit for my hand, just enough handle. Also, this is the lightest knife I own. It disappears into my pocket.

Carbon fiber: Absolutely beautiful and feels great. Doesn't make the knife feel any more fragile. If the my larges are rocks, then this is a diamond.

Overall, I'm very happy. I went out of my comfort zone in every possible way with this one and I'm very impressed. I'm going to EDC it for the next couple weeks and leave my larges at home to get a true idea of how I feel about it.
