Oh no! Now my girlfriend has caught my knife obsession. Suggestions?

I think posts like the delica and mini grip were more aimed at the food prep portion of your post :)

Yes, they probably were. I'm just happy now that instead of acting like I'm crazy she's choosing to join in. If it takes getting her a "cute" knife to get her hooked then cute she will have! Hehehe.

I totally agree :D it took about a year of my wife using mine before i got her one of her own. If she wants to start small then by all means get the lady bug even the small spydies are very wel made im sure she will really enjoy it.

I hope you said 'ok', and not 'NO! That's my best Pink Native!'

I tried to trade it off a few times and she wouldn't let me, then one night I stone cold busted her admiring it.
Since then it's been hers and I am totally thrilled about it.
For our anniversary she said she wants a UG small Sebenza, not sure how I feel about that.

I bought my wife a nice knife once. Then she lost it. Now I don't buy her knives anymore. It's probably good she never signed up for any of my collections. I lived with a roommate once when we both collected vinyl records. The competition got intense.

Ask her to buy whatever she wants. She should buy it with her own money and no matter what she buys you should totally accept it and compliment her great choice.

You'll thank me for this advice. :)

Keep her !!! :D Feed the need !!! :D For me, it's knives & guns. For her it's shoes & purses. Most of my knives are cheaper than her purses. Just sayin' . LOL :D

My wife wanted her own knives, so she's the proud owner of a pink ESEE Izula w/custom lavender scales. Now she's wanting my custom Alan Davis Titanium frame lock folder... My plan is to make her "think" it's hers, which gives me the perfect reason to buy another Alan Davis folder;)

In addition, I bought my son a Benchmade Mini Griptilian and I bought my daughter the new Ontario RAT 2 with pink scales.

I snagged my lady as she was on her way to bed and made her do this, so I hope it helps.

Here are some pics to show scale:

My hand on the left, her phone, her hand

The Benchmade 707 Sequel that I got her:

The Benchmade 140 that she uses on camping trips:

Both of those knives are just too small for my less-than-large mitts. The 707 is great for her, as it has the Axis lock instead of a liner lock. This means she never needs to put her digits in the blade path, and makes her way more at ease when using the knife.

Yes, the pink native. If my girlfriend was interested in knives, beyond the usual " yeah, that looks cool," I'd get her a pink native

Am I the only woman on the planet who detests pink knives?

Nope, my wife cant stand anything pink. Her favorites are anything neon/toxic green. After that, she loves plain stainless. She usually carries a Spyderco Dragonfly(plain stainless) or her Buck Spitfire depending on the clothes she is wearing.

Am I the only woman on the planet who detests pink knives?

No, it's come up before and there have been female knife nuts who've said they hate pink stuff. I personally can't stand purple, which is the other color that's often recommended for knives for women. To each her own. ;)
