Oh no! Now my girlfriend has caught my knife obsession. Suggestions?

Ditto, Dragonfly. She will love it, not too big, not too small. She can get it in colors, too (Orange, yellow, black, pink, dark green, silver, foliage green, etc.)
 
She might like some Laguioles : there are small size models, precious scales, women's boot pommel,too : very nice. Still very strong and functional knives. It was my gift for the ladies. If they had a small feeble for knives, they were delighted.
 
Get her what she wants, the Ladybug. Let her enjoy it and decide for herself if she needs and wants a larger knife. Don't get over excited and get her what SHE might consider "too much knife". That could result in her never carrying it and, therefore, never using it... Once she comes to you and says, "I need a new knife, this Ladybug is too small", then you propose....
 
That's good advice maprik. Actually I just ordered her new knife. And I got her something that nobody has mentioned and I had not thought of until today. I got her a Swiss Army knife classic SD in translucent blue. Keychain sized, multiple uses, "cute"...I thought it would be a perfect knife for a non-knife person to see as useful! Set me back a grand total of $12! If she likes it and uses it ill happily buy her more. If not then whatever, she's got a $12 keychain decoration! :-)

I got to admit when I first seen the title I was thinking that she was going to tear you a new one for buying a knife :D
