Heh, that's the other problem....she doesn't want crappy and pink...she wants QUALITY and pink. GREAT.

I expect to hear "Honey, do you think Reeves would make a pink Seben...." she won't get out the "ZA" because I'll have cut her off with a "Don't even f'in think about it!!!" LOL

Why would she want a reeves if she wants quality?

The pictures all come up sterling silver. :(

the pink ones will all go to my daughter if she wants them. My gf uses my knives, but doesn't need one for herself... Even the pink ones...
I'll keep working on it.

So far my wife has a Pink Esee Izuala, a Pink Ka-Bar Dozier and wants a Pink Mini-Griptilian next. She has a pink screw driver, pink tool set, pink mini flashlight. But, as long as I get to pick up some knives here and there I don't mind one bit.

Heh, considering my wife surprised me with both a Griptilian and a Kershaw Storm, as well as my Glock 19....I'll continue to buy her knives (will likely get her the Dozier. Hell, might just do the his and hers I see occasionally).

You can buy her any gun and tweak it with pink paint and do it from mild to wild... for knives you can also purchase just about any one of them if they have scales and then tweak it with custom made pink scales by either going custom or buying one of the mass produced pink G10 slabs which you can find in many of the knife maker stores just shop for who has the best prices, from what I have seen so far it's all the same stuff...Pink & Black does look good

This is what custom pink & black micarta can like.

Good stuff.

Got me thinking. My wife's thing is horses. (you think knives are addictive and expensive ... ? They don't call horses the "sport of kings" for nothing) I mean she's hard core, if a bone ain't protruding they still ride (serious) We ran a
big professional barn for 7 years. Indoor arena, the whole bit. Sold it 4 years ago. (she still hasn't forgiven me...LOL)

Anyway, she's always borrowing a knife from me, or asking me to drill some new hole in some piece of tack. Or cut something or,or,or

She doesn't carry a knife other that the small Vic I gave her for her key chain (always using the scissors)

The pink thing. She surprised me one time and bought a pair of Winter muck
boots with PINK INLAYS. Loved the laughs she got from the other borders. (go figure) So maybe, just maybe if I got her a pink knife she might hold onto it.

That's the other think, she looses EVERYTHING. Attention span of a guppy.

So too make a long story short ... I'm thinking a pink, equestrian knife, that's not too big, (some type of multi tool function wouldn't hurt, like an awl and scissors) And some thing resonable (she'll loose it) But, maybe if she likes it
she'll hold on to it.

Thanks for the idea. I'll bet Victorinox will have something.

 My mom is into the same kind of thing--she owns 2 Icelandic horses and has a SAK (I don't know what model, but its a multitool with pliers and such). Anyway, she's Swiss and likes horses, so I've been thinking of getting her this for her upcoming birthday:

It ain't pink but I think she'll like it. I'm sure the hoof pick would come in handy. Maybe you could get pink scales or something for your wife :D

Get her a pink Kershaw Leek and tell her that it's a much better knife than a Tiffany knife, as it opens almost on its' own.:D.

On the Tiffany site it's showing up as $215. It's high but likely to hold much of it's value as the average resale price on eBAY being about $150.

Thats the ticket. Horse image will do. The hoof pick will be the clincher.
Too funny ... I'm sure she'd rather have a hoof pick than the Tiffany. That "real
equestrian" thing. I stopped trying to figure it out. Just go with it.

Like my dad said, "you gotta' keep the peace, to get a piece kid"

Thanks.

P.S. We've got Warmbloods. Two geldings. A Dutch and a Hanoverian.

Just be careful--that hoof pick is right next to the tooth pick! :barf::D

I know what you mean.
Anyways glad I could help :D and lol as long as the hoof pick gets rinsed or something I'm sure there won't be a problem with the toothpick. If not...:barf:. It wouldn't be pleasant.
Oh, and my mom has an 11 year-old gelding and a 3 year-old mare that still needs to be trained...more money out of the bank ...Oh well. So long as shes happy with it and my college savings don't go out the window lol.
