Ohio, 10esse, West Virginia etc. Wilderness Gathering

Lets plan one.
My family rents a big piece of land in southern ohio just south of athens that is full of rolling hills, atv trails, and woods.
It has a cabin with electricity and a shower if its needed.
Plenty of areas to hike and explore.

What say you?

( I live about 90 min from Athens by the way and have lots of pals there)
 
WVA Or Ohio Sounds good. Most of the other meets have been too far for me and my fam. What time of the year are you thinking.
 
Maybe we can get a sticky on this.

There is alot of land down there.

I would like to hear what some of you guys have to offer.
Maybe a few knife makers could bring a few knives down to sell.
I will be bringing my atv and motorcycle down and of course I'm taking care of the land.
Anyone a good cook? :D
 
I'd be in - it would half to be late August for me though. I've got a heavy work load through the first 3 weeks of August.

I have some Swiss steel canteen cups (10+) sitting around, an unused Cold Steel Trail Hawk, CS machete, some other stuff for swapping, etc. Got some Busses and Swamp Rats to beat on.
I like to cook when camping. Used to cook for groups of 20+ people. Breakfast item known for...pepper gravey and biscuits.

Might do a day trip over. If I go overnight somewhere I actually like to be in the Wilderness itself. Where I live it's almost like car camping anyway:D
 
I can't say I'm definitely in, because my school starts back on the 25th, but I'm definitely interested. This is the closest that one of these get-togethers has been to me!
 
I have to check my schedule a little closer and check with the better half. It sounds like fun to me.

Well its not to civilized down there.
The cabin is nice if anyone needs it.
I myself will probly take my pack up on a ridge to get away for a night.
Its a big piece of land.
