Ohio, 10esse, West Virginia etc. Wilderness Gathering

I have some Swiss steel canteen cups (10+) sitting around, an unused Cold Steel Trail Hawk, CS machete, some other stuff for swapping, etc. Got some Busses and Swamp Rats to beat on.
I like to cook when camping. Used to cook for groups of 20+ people. Breakfast item known for...pepper gravey and biscuits.

Sounds good.
I'll bring some surplus bags, sleeping bags, pouches, and parkas to give away too.

The place is alittle hard to find as you have to take several unmarked dirt roads to get to the driveway then after you drive in the driveway you have to dive around a few ridges to get to the cabin, other rough roads lead deeper into the property.
I shouldnt call them roads, more like paths you can drive on.
What I think we should do is meet at this gun/gear store thats next to the rocky boot factory in Nelsonville then drive from there.

Ever been to the Opry House there in Nelsonville?

And yet another that I can't get to.

I'll actually be in the Steubenville/Smithfield area soon. Right now its looking like the first weekend in August.

The third weekend I'll be stopping in Myrtle Beach, SC for the weekend then heading to rural south GA for the following five days.

I'll keep an eye on this thread. Maybe I can schedule a stop on my way back north.

Those dates sound good to me need to check with the wife:D. Will this be a kid friendly Gathering???

Yeah I know.

The rocky boot factory and the gun store should be easy to find as its on the main road through Nelsonville.

i would need a motorhome to travel that far. my brother in law lives outside glouster close to bishopville. i havent been down there in many years.

Can we get maps and GPS grid coordinaters? Also are you allowing firearms on the land for target shooting, etc?

Now I have to go through my tradegoods again

Fixed it for ya. :p

No need too...I'm a tried and true Buckeye as well. I attended OSU for awhile until I got really bored with pre-med.

OU offered the degree I wanted but I'm Scarlett and Grey as well.

I can like a MAC team and a BIG 10 team too. THey only play once in a blue moon and we know what will happen.

Go BUCKs!

I will probly get the directions out by email when I find them.
The adress doesnt really do much since its a place you kind of have to find.

I dont think firearms are a problem, we usually shot down there and have a place next to the cabin to do so.
As long as you dont do it constantly and are responsible and the stuff is legal then yes.

What i think I will have you guys do is email me your names and cell #'s so i can put them on a list.
We will do this in a few weeks when I'm back in town.

Email me at pufftmagicdragon at hotmail dot com.
I will send the directions to the gun/gear store and the location of the gathering back.
