Oil for Satin and CG blades

how about some fresh crude oil straight out of mother earth! I think I could swim in the Gulf without fear of my satin blades rusting, ha:barf:
just kidding, I don't think I would do that from what I've been experiencing. Honestly, I have never oiled any of my INFI, I just wipe it dry and back in the drawer they go:thumbup:, and I am surrounded by 3 sides of saltwater(mixed with a good dose of crude of course)

I would think any type of oil would work. Your going to wash the knife before food preperation anyway. I use CRC or WD40. Then wash with saop and water or wipe with Denatured Alcohol (yes, the alcohol thing again) before touching food.

Texas rocks, i live in DFW, one of the only states you could go into the ocean with a Busse and probably not get that many weird looks from ppl. Someone actually asked me in Chicago if we ride horses to work and school.

That's funny, an opening came up at my work in Texas. I'm seriously considering it and I don't even own a horse:D just a dozen Busse-kins.

everyones nice and polite here, if you can deal with the summers which i do hate its pretty cool. The austin area is the nicer looking hill country, up in dfw it is pretty flat. 7th largest economy in the world!!!

Its in San Antonio. The summers kind of suck near Chicago also and I'm sick of the cold of winter. We do get a nice 6 weeks of fall and 2 weeks of spring though.
