I think the SAR8 looks quite nice. Very well done. And IMO a lot more appropriate use of the large handle and functional choil than the SAR4.

But, UNFPORTUNATELY for me, to expensive for me. :( ... another "I wish but can't justify" knife. :(

More power to those who can justify the price.

Pic with the NMSFNO made me really think that it looked like part of the Ergo family. The ZTBM pic sold it. The more things change, the more they stay the same!
 
I'm another in the "too rich for my blood" camp. My impression of the SAR8 is that it's a gorgeous knife, but like most Busses, the upcharge for an LE is just too much for me to justify. Here's hoping for a series of SE's, or even better a CG release.
 
This is my first Busse and all I have to say is WOW. It's amazing, I can't wait to go camping with it. O yeah..and its super purdy :eek::D

I've been staring at these pix for days. I couldn't quite place it for a while. Now I get it. It's a bigger-handled Basic 9. Overall is probably close to identical. Blade shape is similar. The balance is probably different due to the large amount of steel in the SAR8, but it's a Basic 9.

If I only had all the money in the world, I'd own one. Else, I'll have to stick with my B9 and wait for the Bushy Batterat.

I read this over the weekend and was so super excited to get mine, figured I figured Tuesday I would get it, USPS delivers and the holiday weekend is over, ran to the post office and didn't get anything... but it turns out like 5 hours later I did get it, the post office messed it up, you gotta have one of these in your hands to understand, too hard to describe... GOTTA HAVE!

I was wrong, my post office screwed things up, I went there a second time today, had to mail something out and there it was along with two other packages, I like it, it's not heavy but the Satin is really hot! I'll try to handle it more without cutting myself and let everyone know, but so far, I love it!

I can't believe how fast the shipping on these was. I got back from Labor day weekend Monday night and it had been waiting on me all weekend. What a great knife. Has quickly become one of my favorites, just feels good in my hands. SAR-8 #4 is all mine. Thanks a lot Busse for another great knife. Can't wait to get out in the woods and beat it up.

I honestly couldn't tell you as I have no scale... But I can say that it feels very similar in weight to a SFNO LE. I dunno if that helps, but it'll have to do until someone weighs it and posts the results. :)
