Ok dagnabittt Im in anoter situation

I'm pretty much with the majority here, that Ren should wait a little longer, then sell it to the second guy. However, depending on where the guy is, communication can be difficult. For example, if I'm dealing with someone on the East Coast, then I'm probably reading his post at 6:00 P.M. my time, 12 midnight Eastern. Most likely, if I e-mail, he won't get it to the next day. Then I won't see his response until I check my e-mail, at 6:00 P.M. again. So it is possible that 24 hours may elapse between communications (Ron LaBella knows all about this! :D )

I'm grateful that everyone I've dealt with so far has been understanding of this situation. Of course, some people (Greg) are up late enough that I can get an e-mail dialouge going.

Wow. You guys are pretty strict.

If the guy's an actual member, as in, he has more than single-digit posts, and he agreed to the price, then I'd tell the second guy that if the first doesn't get back to me within three days, the second guy can have it.

Twenty four hours is jumping the gun a bit. It'd be NICE of him to get back to you that quickly, but it's not really unreasonable if it takes him longer. Like that guy above said, maybe he's working a double shift. Maybe his computer broke down and the library's closed.

I can't imagine selling to someone else because I didn't get an e-mail within twenty four or even forty eight hours... but then again, I can't really imagine going dead-air on them for that long without letting them know first, either.
