Isn't that Lenny from Mice and Men? Not Charlie?
I'll take a frame lock over a liner lock every time. And S30V over D2 every time as well. Frame lock + S30V- you've just described a Strider or a Sebenza.

Same here! An S30V titanium frame-lock is my preference. Im not a fan of liner-locks at all. I do like D2 a lot, but IMHO, S30V is better.
It seems you're in the market for a Leek, in which case I'd say the potential extra strength of the frame lock probably won't make much difference either way, and I'd personally choose the gripiness of the G10 over the slick steel. It's been my experience that both liner and frame locks tend not to 'fail' due to bending or breaking of the lock material, but 'slipperiness' of the lock/tang engagement surfaces, which can happen with either. I find Kershaw's lock performance to be pretty dependable either way. Hope this helps.
O... M... G... Is this what I get for asking about non-busse knives?![]()
How 'bout an Infi Skirmish? It's a frame lock and you don't have to decide between S30V or D2.
