OK guy's tell it..

seeing the assasination of JFK live

Yes...I remember it well. I went to see a James Bond movie that night. It's the only time in my lifetime that I've actually seen kids on the street selling an EXTRA EDITION of the newspaper.

Sure are a bunch of old goats here :footinmou

some young un's here too. :)

Where did it go???

Don, that may be what I have written on my tombstone.

It just seems like yesterday that I was in college. Just like yesterday that I got married.

Seems like yesterday that my son was born, then my daughter.

Now they are grown and have moved out, have good jobs and are very likely, more responsible and mature than I am.

I laugh about falling out of trees now but I don't get up as quickly as I used to. I had to demand that one of the Senior members of my company resign recently. He was a close friend who...frankly...needed firing and I realized I would not live long enough to undo the damage if he stayed any longer.

Where indeed did it go? :(

I'm 63 and in pretty rough shape, but I had a hell of a good time getting in this condition!!!

17 and ... well just felling like 17 :D.

But even I, in my younger years of age, feel the time passing by much faster than it did back in the (real) childhood days . Help me, I'm getting old !!! ;) :D

33 2 weeks ago.... almost a third of a century old..:)

Never thought I would last this long at 18:)

at least by the time I hit my prime I should be able to make a real nice knife..:)

Sometimes? :p :D

Hey, nobody told me we had to grow up mentally. All they told me was, my toys were going to get more expensive. :)

Danbo, you got that right! :D Do you think we'll ever be satisfied with the toys we have? Naaaw I don't think so :D There will always be something else to buy. Just bought a 20 gauge slug barrel for my TC Encore, like I need another barrel

Thanks for the jealousy pain, Scott!
How you liking it?

Double nickle here. I'm enjoying the trip however. Well, most of it anyway. Have met some really great people along the way, and some others that really stand out, some for good reasons, some for not so good reasons.

Haven't shot it yet. I ordered Winchester Supreme Platinum tip 260gr slugs form a place in Missouri last week and they emailed me yesterday saying they were out of stock  I was scrambling doing a search for another place that had them. Cheaper than Dirt in FT. Worth had them so I reordered and should have them by next Tues., I hope. You know Dan next Sat is opening day of firearms deer season here. I still have to sight it in! The slugs are basicly a handgun bullet in a shotgun shell with a velocity of 1900 FPS! That's rolling baby for a slug :D and TC,s are known for their accuarcy.
