Yep,a dangler would be good for that size blade IMO.(great for sitting)A square bottom dangler like the kephart would work with me. Nice thing about that is if you dont feel like having it dangle it can be used on the belt loop like a foldover sheath; basically gives you two options in one sheath design. But I am always open to other ideas as well...

Some folks like to strap their big blades to their packs also,so maybe the option of a universal with a MOLLE strap?
Had a thought today, what do you guys think about a camp knife with the handle shape of The Hunter????? I actually prefer that handle shape over palm swells but don't know how it would work on a knife this size. Maybe Ill just do one and see!
