OK....so what did you get at the Blade Show?

Purchases - Polkowski Pug, Scorpion and Companion. REKAT Carnivour. Szabo/Black Cloud Porpoise. I ordered a Mills/AKKI Back Up Fighter from Rafter Custom Knives. I hope to see it in 4 - 6 months.

My biggest surprise, I was able to get 3 Kasper designed Polkowski's. VIP passes are a blessing. Thanks Les. I was able to get most of what I wanted with the little cash I brought. I got to meet most of my favorite makers. They're all really cool people.

I am planning ahead, I will save a lot more money for next years show.

great show, my first one. i got a w.d. pease integral-stag boot knife; a terzuola ttf-3 with carbon fiber handle, titanium bolster and a cool bronze color ti blade coating; and finally, 2 greco fixed blades...dmc

Well... I really didn't bring a lot of cash with me, having spent some prior to the blade show...

I did pick up a Dozier Straight Personal -- besides a great small blade -- a great kydex sheath design. Press down on the belt clip while deploying and the knife comes out like butter. None of that sticky wrestling feel I get with a lot of kydex stuff.

I would have loved a Speed Tech, a Ricky Fowler fixed blade, a Greco 3/16" stock version of the Companion (fitted with an Edgeworks sheath).

Oh well... Have to wait for my REKAT Carnivour, Crawford Carnivour (fun meeting Pat C. and Bob T.) and my Madpoets.

Hello all! This years was by far the best Bladeshow ever. It was great meeting all the forumites and makers. Coming home broke was the only downside, but I picked up quite a few toys though.
My favorite is my Microtech custom d/a socom set with blue anodized handles, carbon fiber inlays, and Walter Brend blades. Words cannot do this set justice. Also picked up a C A West large tactical, Lightfoot 458 tanto, Crawford point guard, Polkowski polecat, RJ Martin kwaiken, Emerson commader, Ralph apogee, Elishewitz M-6, Microtech's Nemesis, Vector, and Kestral, Emerson/Perrin neck knife, Bladeforums native w/ necksheath, And My Favorite-Speedtech Synergy w/ Elisewitz blade. Best part of the show was the awards banquet and seeing people get well deserved credit for their efforts. I am already counting down to next year.

Maybe I missed someones post but was Emerson there with any of his customs? Anyone care to share how he sold them?

I'm curious to hear how much (approx.) did you folks spend at the show? I might never be able to get in one of them, but I like to daydream and prepare myself if I ever get a change to come to the States, I sure am coming when there's a major knife show somewhere!

Two important questions in life:
Do they have a catalog?
Did you know there's a town called "Batman" in Turkey?

Sniper308,

Yes he did, 5 or 6 CQC6's, although he had a lottery for their purchase.

Sniper308,
Ernie had people write their names on slips of paper and drop them in a hat. At three o'clock on Friday he then had a member of the crowd gathered around his booth pick out five names. Each was eligible to purchase one custom CQC-6 at $525. Later that day I saw two of these same knives on a dealer's table for $895. They were both gone by Sunday.
