My first knife of 2008 was my first Forged Knife. A Stag handled Rock House Trail Bowie from Craig Camerer. Fell in love with it. So much that, I reserved another slot with Craig for a Fall delivery. Just have to figure out what I want next. Now, I am waiting on a Jason Knight delivery now.

My first knives 2008 are still on order. 
First I ordered an integral by german Gerhard "redcloud" Wieland.

It`s the bottom one. (The one on top was my own drawings but finally I liked Gerhard`s proposal better!)
The second I ordered is in the making already and last night I received a pic of the recent update.
Also an integral by german Uwe Heieck.

Bummer about the water quench. But I want to know about the axe. Who made it? What's the steel? Etc.

Mine's one of the Gil Hibben JR's, the first 100 are the LTD models, the movie debuts on friday. A large heavy machete type knife, nothing fancy as you all read in Blade but kind of cool though. IMO a little pricey but time will tell, anyone else order one? Any other opinions?
