Old and Tired. Not much left in the tank.

This Case Congress is the one that got me interested in "old and tired" knives. When the blades were sharpened until the tips were proud of the well, the owner filed down the kicks. When the nail nicks could no longer be reached, he ground reliefs in the handle. I carry and use it from time to time, because the blades are sharp little "x-acto knives" case 006 resized .jpg case 007 resized .jpg

Looks like the pen blade saw the most action on this old Miller Bros jack. Picked it up in an indoor flea mkt not 10 miles from where it was made.

Nice old Miller GE! ...and there's some of that screw together construction we've been hearing about. Thanks for posting.

These two Ibberson knives, a Ruler Knife and a Wireless Knife have seen a lot of wear, way too much wear in the latter case, but were still of interest to me.

Here's another old IXL which had seen a lot of use. It was sharp when I got it though, and I've carried it a few times myself

This is by Rawson Brothers of Sheffield, well the blade was at least! :D Looks like it was re-pinned with a nail! Still works though
