How on earth anyone managed to break the can-opener on this tank-like Wade & Butcher 1941 British Army Clasp Knife, I have no idea

I don't think I've ever seen one of these watch openers where some doughnut, not satisfied with having just ONE watch opener blade, hasn't messed up the main blade
