Had to use a bit of steel wool to get some staining off but I think it turned out pretty good, no?

:D
Best regards,

Thats gonna be a cool one to carry around FC:thumbup:

I hope you don't hate me for this, but I'm popping it on ebay. For me personally, I'm a Spyderco/Kershaw/Cold Steel kind of guy. In my work, I need something with a clip. Belt pouches just get in my way.

*Ducks!*
:(

Hope I don't offend!

No offense here, surpise and disappointment maybe;) You can do very well with pocket clip Buck though and should check out the Vantage series amongst others.

Ok so in light of all this - I have a 112 with no nail nick and black micarta scales -Dad carved his initials in the bolster and "rounded off" all sharp edges - so is this one of the first of the 112's - from all I've been reading there's no mention of micarta - and I know this knife has NOT been modded! I bought it new for dad for Christmas in 73! and yeah, I have the box and origional leather sheath! and love the knife!
Peace

1st version both variations and 2nd version 1st of the 3 variations have micarta. 1st ver 1st var has brass spring holder, stainless after that. 1st versions are 2 liners, 2nd version is a 3 liner.

1st version 1st var(note-nail nic and beveled edges are aftermarket mods)

Yep! brass spring housing would make it the first offering of the #112! Dad's leather sheath has never been used- I made a custom job for him - he hated loops on sheath backs to put on his belt -so I made his with slits and tooling! - I also have a Gerber FSII (real Gerber USA) from that same era!
