  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Old Friends Friday

Both of these knives are some Older Knives that I REALLY LIKE but seldom carry .
And I happen to have them in my pockets today my Oldest Case XX in Stag that has Steel Liners and not Brass .

And a 1933 to 1935 Remington Grandaddy Barlow gifted to me by my friend @johnny twoshoes that I am very happy to have . A Barlow Collection would not be much without one of these IMO .

Jack Black Jack Black , Thanks for starting this thread! The reminder to look through "My Pile" once a week and select something special (but maybe neglected) to carry for the day, is a good thing. This morning getting together with this old friend is already turning out to be quite enjoyable. Thanks again, Jack

I use this 73 all the time, if not at work then I frequently stick it in my pocket to run errands and all kinds of other things. I wonder how it will look in 30 years. This picture is old as the knife has more patina now. Definitely an old and good friend.

Cracking old Barlows Harry :)

I'm carrying this early stainless IXL Penknife today :) I picked it up within a couple of hours of becoming a grandfather :)

This one is been with me 8 years, around 3 years occasional carry and 5 almost everyday with a lot of whittling time in the hand,
That’s what real pocket worn looks like ;)
