"Old Knives"

I'll take 'em!
Are these for sale??
🤣 Rob, I figured claim em and count the damage later, excellent dozen:thumbsup: the ISW pill buster is a beauty

Sorry for causing any alarm among fellow knife hawkers (hunters) ....... I started to title that pic "Eight dollars per Dozen."
Glad I didn't .......... in hind sight. 🤣
Thank you Rob for the compliment.😊

My oh my Mr P. I love the pill buster but would have to choose the Fayetteville Knife Co barlow. :D

That doesn't surprise me Dwight ....... when considering your fine Barlow collection. 😊

Wasn't that gretals brother?

I believe it was !🤣

Ach du Lieber!! That's my name in German!! I've been looking for my knife!!!
I'll send you my address!! 😲
🤣🤣🤣

Which brings up the question ....... how many old knives does one man need ? 🤔🤔
Maybe just one more ...... or two. ;)
Reminds me of that Midway USA commercial on TV. 🤣
That is an awesome collection of Empires you posted in another thread ! I wonder how many years that took.
I reckon you knew that I don't own a German to English Dictionary. 🤣

J. PRIMBLE BELKNAP GERMANY stamped Ivory Jack from around 1955, which makes it very close to my own age. 3 & 1/8" closed.
This knife never saw much use, if any ......... has a deep etch on the blade.
I wish I still looked as new. 😊

* I debated for a long time before making this purchase.

Haven’t been active on here for a good while maybe 5 years or so but recently found myself lurking around, drooling over and liking the beautiful knives again! Good to see that the regulars are still around and some new folks too. Here’s a Miller Bro’s I’ve posted before.

Here's my first post of any substance - four James Barber knives, and then a tiny 'Barber Bros' knife at bottom.

One more...Back in the '60s I always had wanted a Barlow, so I finally saved up and bought an extremely cheap one that was fairly useless. My Grandfather gave me a used Boker pocket knife about the same time, and my Grandmother followed with a beautiful brand-new Schrade Walden. But, as an adult I still wanted a good Barlow, and over fifty years later, I nabbed this one on ebay. A few blemishes, but never used (I still use the Boker my Grandfather gave me).

I inherited this from my great grandpa a few years ago and just found it again. I honestly don’t know anything about older folders which is why I’m here. Does anyone have any idea what this is? I think there used to be a stamp but I can’t make it out. Tried to capture it on camera but not a very good image. To open the knife you have to press in on the blade and tilt the knife toward the joint so that a small rod drops out of the lock on the blade. Any info would be great.

Looks like an old Imperial trick knife. I think they were made from roughly the late forties into the sixties.
