"Old Knives"

I am afraid I have become lazy about commenting the last while, letting the like/love buttons do it for me. There have been a lot of great knives posted on the last few pages, as on all the pages of this thread.
Love that Cattaraugus display, Mike galvanic1882 galvanic1882 . The pair of Napanochs are also great.

I love tip bolsters!
I am a big fan of tip bolsters also. That is a beauty, Greg! Any chance of a pic of the pile side? Is there a model number and what is the closed length?

I'm starting to take pictures of groups of my sheepsfoot jacks. The first group is all Schrade, most are Cut Co's, only 2 early Waldens, the earliest Cut Co has an arched tang stamp. Has not been an easy collection to put together, I have been lucky enough to have a lot of help from knife friends.

Thanks, I agree. Even the tang stamps seem to have higher attention to detail than you commonly find today.

Nice Schrade Lloyd. Mike seems to have a wee wishing well behind his House!
I love the knives you share with us.

That goes for Augie too - in fact I suggest Mike puts up a security camera by his wishing well as Augie is sneaking in there in the middle of the night !

I've gotten a bit lazy about taking and posting pictures lately. Here's a NYK Co. stabber jack I bought a while ago. It has a pin on the opposite side of the blades that looks like it goes all the way through. I found the pattern in a catalog I have, but couldn't find the same pattern with blades coming out of both ends.
