"Old Knives"

I can see why Glenn, I would have picked that one up too because of those added Bonus extras that you pointed out my friend!

In fact, hold on......I probably wouldn't have as I didn't know they came out with solid Bolsters so would not have looked at it so hard! 🤔

Interesting old stag Simmons I picked up. Has an unusual punch.

I have the same punch on a 4 bladed Wards Stockman

I don't think that Western Boulder stockman is German in any way shape or form. Whether it has been repinned or some other anomaly, I have no idea, but it looks exactly like it should (to me) to be authentic out of the Boulder, Colorado factory.

Dan, I love the bone on that one! It's interesting that the blades are slightly different on these two.

That Lightening Strike is Utica, there is always variances in most of the punches, when I line up the same manufactured Punch in my HJ's and Scouts, there is always a slight difference, so definitely not a different manufacturer.

You will note that the width of the Punches shown in the Knives that have the Lightening Strike Punch in these last few pages are different widths, so of course this will effect the outcome of the actual Lightening Strikes width as well within the Punch Blade.

Utica also made the Punch with the Match-strike Nail Nick as well.

Thanks Duncan that makes sense, I hadn't considered the varying widths of the punches.
