  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

"Old Knives"

Here is an interesting old Remington knife from the early days, that has covered a few miles, but remains eminently useful!!Surveyor 1.jpgSurveyor 2.jpg
This knife is called a Surveyor! It is very like a fancy scout knife, with a swell-center shape, and slant bolsters!! It also has half-stops !!! The pile side bone is more worn than the mark side, probably a function of the way it was carried!!

PIcked up this rather minty Challege Cutlery tool kit knife a while back.

Wow!
Lloyd, nice showing of those Pocket Eze's :D

Charlie, they are coming out the woodwork now!
That Remington Surveyor is so nice, I cannot recall seeing too many slanted Bolsters on a Remington- but I don't know a lot about Remington's, but I do know that is a gorgeous Knife!

Then you post that Ulster Whittler Charlie, that is just superb in every way Sir- Wow! those Beads are super interesting, to think that they were/are Trade Beads, who actually made those Beads Charlie - were they made in England/ Italy perhaps to Trade to the Native Indian people?
