Dwight, those are both really nice knives. The color of the bone is unusual on both.
Charlie has taunted me with that little harness jack of his before.
Robeson made a variety of these jacks with different pattern numbers.
I have a few. I don't think I've posted them before as some are cleaned
knives and others a little lacking in the condition department.
I think most of these are 3 3/8" long; one or two might be smaller or larger.
This green bone handled jack has a bow-tie shield, a master spear and pen blade.
Pattern number 626639.
This knife has brown bone handles and a bow-tie shield, with master clip
and pen blade.
Pattern number 626636.
Here's another 626636, but with green bone handles and bow-tie shield.
This one has brown bone and a bow-tie shield. The master clip is down some
from full, but still a pretty little knife.
It's 3 1/4" long.
Pattern number 626513.
This one's a bare-head with cream/brown bone handles, an oval shield and
master clip and pen.
Pattern number 626240.
This one's a bit larger, 3 3/4". It has brown bone handles, a master clip and
pen blade.
Pattern number 626056.
That's it for regular/tear drop jacks. Notice that I do not have a harness jack
like the one Charlie C. posted above.
Neither do I have any with that almost oxblood colored bone that Dwight
posted.
Robeson did, indeed, have a variety of bone and jigging patterns.
