"Old Knives"

Nice knives.I really like the checkering look on that bone on the Rodgers. The folder's special for my taste.

You guys have some wonderful farmers jacks. I only have one. It is a Camillus Cutlery Co New-York. Brown wood handle scales and not sure but may be from 1915-1918>?

Wow, Rick, that old New Orleans folder is a real gem. In such great condition, and very unique! Definitely looks like it bears no small amount of French/Spanish influence (appropriate for down in the bayou, I guess). Thanks for showing!

chouse, that's a real sweetheart.

Rick, I too am really enamored with that folder!! Any time you want to post more pictures of it,please don't hesitate

This pose shows off its curves, IMHO Emphasizes the dimensions well. We also get a good look at the blades, liners and shield, and the fact that at least one blade has half stops. Sweeeeeet knife!!

Had this one in another thread, didn't think to cross-post it at the time.

I was pleased to pick up this old Kastor & Co Doctor's Knife yesterday :)

Thanks fellers. Yeah, I think it goes back a bit. Still absolutely solid, not a fraction of blade play or a smidgen of light.

Nice find on the Beekman Mr G
