"Old Knives"

Can't seem to find all my MOP knives at the moment  But here's a similar knife, which also seems to have a mismatched blade.

Great knives guys!

Gotta new camera so I'm tryin' it out; dang thing is so new-fangled and complicated that I need one of my grand kids to show me how to work it! Well, here goes:

Simmonds Saw Co. (with old repair)

My "Primblized" Schrade

Old Catt

Well, shucks, that went well. Let's try a few more oldies.

Richards & Conover

Shapleigh Hdwe.

Wow, great pics of some stunning knives Barry

Thanks Phil! The DE is a recent acquisition I was lucky to find, and one I'm proud to conserve. Still a very tight and solid knife.

Thanks Mark! I love the propeller style shields on the old jacks. The Schrade was unfortunately 'cleaned' but Primble made it right again.

Thanks Rob! You are the man when it comes to replicating a nice, worn finish. I have that knife prominently on display.

WOW!!!
There is some SERIOUS Bling going on there my friend - Whew!!!! Thank you for again giving us some eye candy - Great shots too by the way!

Thanks Duncan! My new camera takes better close-up shots, so 'watch out Primble'! lol

Wait 'til I figure this hi-tech gizmo out. :o

WOW Barry - a fantastic bunch of old knives you have shown here!!!:eek::eek::eek::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::)

Looks like the new camera is really doing a nice job. I am shakin' in my boots ! :D:D

I thought the old Schrade EO was a super knife in person and I love the DE a lot too - ohh wait ! - what about that fabulous bone color on that Catt.:eek::eek:

I think I need to find something to lure you into a trade for the Catt knife.:D Huntin' in my rabbit hole now!:confused::rolleyes::D

Impressed. ;)

There were two of these listed on Ebay about a month ago, one in the U.S. and one in the UK.

Unless they were the same knife and the very one shown on BF, there is, at least, one more, possibly two, floating around at about the same time this one was acquired.

Here's a link to the completed Ebay-UK auction:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/191461759110?clk_rvr_id=766934897835&rmvSB=true

The seller in the U.S. has removed the photos from his completed auction, but here is a link to the auction's description:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/MSA-Marbles-Pocket-Knife-w-Corkscrew-amp-Bone-No-Buy-it-Now-/281271125358

Is either of those the knife posted previously on BF?

Thanks guys! I was very fortunate to find the DE and Eureka jacks. The DE was a shot in the dark as the photos were very poor, but I got lucky for a change. :D

Here is an old NYK 1/2 congress with the oval stamp and some of my favorite pickbone.
