Charles,

Another beauty! I love the grind on the main, very aggressive. I love bad arse main blades on whittlers, especially when they have MOP covers. Like the top Schrade in the first picture and second from the top Remington in the bottom picture. You have some beautiful knives

Charles, You have a super collection of whittlers! It seams I see one in almost every thread, one is nicer than the other! Jamie, Yours are impressive as well. The Schrades and Remingtons in that condition (I love that Wharncliffe), WOW......we know CONDITION is the true rarity. Rare knives in rare condition. Thanks for posting. Barry

Barry, thanks for the comment. Here is one that is not a whittler.

This knife can be found in the THE LONDON KNIFE BOOK (1820-1945) Ron Flook, pag 62. Samuel Fisher & Son (1880-1910) Has a corn file, a cutting blade and the author describes the other blade as spoiled by rounding. To me it looks like a designed cuticle blade. Covers are celluloid.

Thanks for the comments all, much appreciated.

Very interesting, that corn knife. What exactly is a corn rasp used for?

Another early Camillus pruner I received this week, not as nice shape as the other but ok considering it appears to be from 1915 or so.
Still has a lot of blade left and very good snap.
