"Old Knives"

It sure was made then, and thats a neat score - always neat seeing an older Case pop up that still has lots of life left in it.

Ohhh God, my school times is more than 50 years over now ... i use it always correct, but how to explain it in english ???

Das ist eine "rostfreie Klinge" = That is a "stainless blade"
is the "normal" way, if you use "rostfrei" as an adjective in combination with a "female" substantive (die Klinge).

Das ist ein "rostfreier Stahl" = That is a "stainless steel"
if you use it with a "male" substantive (der Stahl).

BUT:
Das sind 2 "rostfreie" Stähle" = That are 2 "stainless steels"

German is not that easy, you see! Too much irregular expressions :(

Ah, thank you. I think I get it. Conjugating adjectives. :D I'm used to seeing knives marked just "rostfrei" without "klinge".

Rachel - LOVE that Justus Bierhoff !!!!!:thumbup::thumbup::)

Thanks. :)

With one of my KK Barlows:

Address incoming for their rightful owner/s :D

Don't think I've shown this John Ryalls & Sons (1890-1916) ivory Sleeveboard here before.

Thank you and that looks like a solid Imperial. Sorry for any confusion. I bought the knives from a benefit sale for Bob, which I also donated too. ;) There is a thread about that.

Stunning Primble
