"Old Knives"

Here are a couple of Scouts, a Camillus Sword Brand and an Imperial. The Camillus is pretty tough condition wise. Cracked and repaired bone, but still a fully functional and (I think) good looking knife:thumbup:

The Imperial has no bail, is a bit smaller (little tank) and sports gorgeous rosewood? covers. The main is down and seats a little lower so the tip isn't exposed. Again, all in all just a good looking knife with lots of life left. I love the Imperials phillips, similar to the 10th mountian military knives:thumbup:

Hmmm, can't seem to load the pair mark side picture?

Very cool Knives Paul matey. Your right that Imperial is a tank, and the Rosewood covers are gorgeous. The Sword Brand- now when can one ever go wrong with a Camillus Sword Brand? Even though the covers have repairs- still a real neat looking knife Paul 👍
Love the Punch on that old Cammy.

Thanks Duncan, the Imperial is a stout knife yet carries easily. I too like that spiral punch on the Camillus. Sent you a text my friend:thumbup:

Great knives Paul, I like the wood and the phillips driver on the scout and both have the cool shields. We would have to pass by so many wonderful knives if pristine was all we would accept. Give me the history laden user... just because I like old knives. Good to see those two, -James

Thank you James, we think alike. To find a pristine ORIGINAL gem would and can be nice, but the used not abused knives ready to be put into service peak my interest the most:cool::thumbup:

I absolutely agree gentlemen::thumbup:

Wonderful vintage scouts herder, John and Paul! Great sportsmen/utility folder Charlie! Thanks for posting photographs of all these exceptional folders. Lloyd

Great examples, and sometimes everything just seems to come together on certain models, including that Imperial Scout knife. The handles, shield, bolsters, and blades all balance out so nicely with each other.

Coll scouts guys, very interesting Imperial Paul.
I find the shields on the sword brand very cool.
Here's one I owend, 1920-40 Case

Very nice example. It's good to see a knife that has been used but not beat up and still in good condition like this one.

I like that one r8shell :) It has character  Certainly not alone in that, some great knives

Rachel, I love the character the Old Scout has:cool:

Lloyd, just another AMAZING knife you have, LOOK at those covers and I love the blade selection:cool::thumbup:

Thanks, Jack and Paul. The awl is broken and I've never used that type of can opener, and doubt I would ever need to, but I'm tempted to touch up the edge on the main blade and carry it from time to time. Just so much character! :D

Great examples everyone.
Smiling-Knife, I've always liked that unusual style can opener.
r8shell, that does look like a well loved knife with some serious pocket time on those warm old handles.
Luger, that is a stellar example and neat to see a three blade variation.
