"Old Knives"

Yes, an Epic Pruner no less. Great end-cap matched to double Rat-Tails, highly desirable and impressive.

Picked up this Wilkinson seven blade folder for a little inspiration. Outside of the corrosion and a broken main blade and scissors spring, it seems unused. Still has some gold wash in the filework. And the pearl handles still sparkle. Main blade has a three line stamp...... "F" and a letter I can't make out on the first line; "Wilkinson" on second line; "Sheffield" on third line.

Haven't been able to find much info on Wilkinson knives.

There is inspiration and then there is inspiration. You got a bucket full of it in that knife. Looking forward to the end result....

Amazingly built Knife Ai wonder if Wilkinson contracted their folders out to someone like Ibberson or such?
Thank you for sharing this neat Sheffield JD
Please help me out here - that wee Fork?

"wee fork" I believe is a "cigar fork"

Found the near identical knife HERE posted by smiling-knife. Maker is Prescott & Milner - Sheffield. Although the two knife blades on the P&M are stainless.

A Sheffield beauty there J:thumbsup:

This Robeson EZ open Jack arrived today. I posted it's twin a few pages back. The first one I posted had more of a green bone mark cover and redbone pile cover. This new arrival (pictured on top) has more uniformed covers. The pen blade on the new one is a little less full though.
Both blades are solid and the covers are perfect.

Great looking knives Paul! Those jigged bone covers are just spectacular:thumbsup: More random than not--like they were almost wrought by God or nature. They exude quality of build as one would expect from a vintage Robeson folder. Just really fabulous!! Lloyd

Thanks Lloyd, what a knife Robeson produced. Solid after all these years. You just feel the quality when you carry one of these vintage beauties:thumbsup:

Lloyd said it all for me Paul.
UNBELIEVABLY Beautiful Knives. I am looking forward to handling those if I am so lucky inside the month Paul!

Thanks Duncan, there are some great vintage knives just waiting for you. Less than a month now buddy:cool::thumbsup:
