Here's an Imperial fish knife, for advertisement & it has clam shell bolsters & I think, crackled ice celluloid, either way, throw in that pop top popper & It's Cott to be Good!
Man you guys are coming up with some beauts! Vince what a variety!
Here's an HSB that was I believe a contract knife done by Joseph Allen and Son's, and below that a handful of daddy barlows:
Van Camp 3.5" Whittler...well used and taken care of. Don't have a shot of it but this knife sports parallel springs with no center liner. Etch is still visible on the master blade.
Sorry my pics arent nearly as good as you guys pics are. The big camillus is supposedly a world warII kitchen/chef knife the small one is Hibbard spencer bartlett &co. and the other leather handled knife is a Cattaraugus cutlery co. little valley NY. I assume the notches on the knife are for measuring, as they are exactally 1 inch apart.-Joel
Wow, this is quite a day for this thread. Here is one made on the U.S.S. Ticonderoga during WWII. It also has a great hand made sheath with a buckle instead of a snap. Blade is 8''.
