"Old Knives"

Cambellclanman, very nice Valley forge, but I'm afraid those old Sheffield models stole its thunder. :)
Wonderful to have the "Rodgers Docking Knife Hand Forged" stamped in the blade. I don't remember seeing one stamped like that before.

Luger, beautiful and rare knife. A great pattern in great condition.

danno50, another fine Keen Kutter from your collection. Neat handle shape with beautiful pic-bone handles.

That's a dandy Rob!

I was able to get out to a knife show Sunday, and picked up a couple decent pieces. Not showroom quality like most shown here, but I'm happy with them.

A nice Holley

Very nice Glenn, was that the NCCA show? I didn't end up taking anything home. Those look like nice finds, I love that Schatt especially

Yes, that was NCCA. I wish I knew you were there!

I was talking with Gene (gunsil) and Barry (1fartsmella) for awhile, I'm sure I'll be attending more shows.

I must have walked past you more than once, LOL

Here's my $5 bargain. Pile side is not as nice though. Anyway, it's a Jackson Knife & Shear, a somewhat scarce brand from what I understand.

Thank you all for the kind comments and likes on my Keen Kutter.
Very nice, Rob, good condition for a knife that old!
Three great quality pickups, glennbad! That Schatt & Morgan is an interesting pattern, I like it! Your $5 bargain is not too shabby as well!

Glenn- real nice pick ups - I really like those wee knives- the three are just great- that Schatt and Morgan has especially nice Bone and I really like the squared off Tip Bolsters !

Hey Glenn - just looking at that stunning Bone on your new Schatt and Morgan, a smaller knife of mine is extremely similar in Bone jig work....

Thanks for the kind words everyone!
Love the hammer brand and SM Glen, my kinda knives, I can't afford the pristine examples but I love my lightly used and patinated knives!
Love that original patina. Great looking knife.

Very nice, I was in on that one early on. Glad you got it

Curtin and Clark. 1910 to 1920 are the dates I'm finding for the Kansas City mark. The original finish on both blades is visible under the light patina. Aside from the small chip out of the main blade it lived a gentle life. View attachment 1226036
Very nice Rob. Some day I hope to see one of those Curtin & Clark's in the wild .
