Old Teeth! The Beauty of Creation!

Appreciate that Jack thank you!

It's in semi-wreck condition but the excellence of manufacture is apparent, the 2 surviving blades have wonderful snap and the stamp is interesting. Not a hint of a gap on the backspring either.

Regards, Will

I find a lot of nice old knives with broken blades. You really have to wonder what would possess someone to treat a lovely knife like that :grumpy:

Well Jack I believe it's a case of prybaritis.....experience is the only cure!

Beautiful knives every one.

This is an old Harrison Bros and Howson. Cutlers to Her Majesty (Queen Victoria). Looks like it has a stock number or something on the blade. Maybe a salesman sample or display knife once upon a time.

Nice one, Flint!

SK, that Butler looks like it's still ready to work. Beautiful knife.

That's it, as soon as the forum knives show up, and I try my hand at getting a Washington Jack, I'm going on a serious ivory hunt!

That Butler is a Better Butter, S-K! Bodaciously Beautiful!

Gratifyingly Gorgeous, George!!
