Old Teeth! The Beauty of Creation!

Breaks your heart to see a fine knife made into a relic, Jack. Good luck with further ministrations!!

Thanks Charlie, so many knives like this unfortunately.

What a wonderful late night treat, Lyle!! Does that sumptuous beauty have a bad side...I think not!! Thanks for sharing that Sow Belly of all Sow Bellies

Like Jack said, clearly a special knife - what a treasure - has it Stans name on the liner at all - or does he not do that with his later work?
The 02 may be the year? That really is a knife I would treasure for life!
Lyle, I hope the foot gets better Sir.( not dropping any open knives on feet are you Lyle? )

This printer is pretty nice Charlie,no cover just me holding the knife. Duncan,as you can see,I don't think this is a later work. The foot was burned badly when a pressure canner exploded, thankfully it just got my hand and foot.

Beautiful knife Mike,nicely embellished.

Steve you have an enviable collection of exquisite knives and a very nice Saynor farmers jack.:)

I am overwhelmed and humbled by the quality of stuff shown on this thread. My modest contribution shows two very small knives one marked ABRAM / BROOKSBANK / SHEFFIELD with the "DEFIANCE" stamp and the other simply BROOKSBANK / SHEFFIELD.

Thanks for the kind words fellas. I used to have a dozen or so of Wendell's knives.
The bark ivory trapper is the only one I have left. So many knives, only so much money.:(:D
