So I finally pulled the string on a Large 21 Micarta Sebenza, purchased from KnifeArt.com. It just hit the mailbox today, mind you it took a full week to arrive. I open the package only to find a Unique Graphic Sebenza in my Micarta Sebenza box. Even the birth certificate says Micarta. At the moment nobody is answering at KnifeArt, hopefully this will be resolved quickly, but at the least, I got another week of waiting.

I will say that I loved the Sebenza, it is eveything that I thought it would be, minus the ugly pattern. (It is the straight arrow graphic) So has anybody ever had a problem with KnifeArt, I thought they were a trustworthy site. Tell me your thoughts.

If you found a graphics Sebbie in a box that says its micarta, and the birth certificate says its micarta, the goof up could have happened at CRK or KnifeArt. Calm down a bit and give KnifeArt a chance to reply to your problem. If they won't make it right, I'm sure CRK will.

I'd also ask that they cover shipping charges on the wrong knife back to them.

I have quite a bit of experience with Knife art and they're top notch. I bought knives, returned knives, exchanged, etc... Never had a problem and Larry was always helpful with advices.

Knifeart is very good....mistakes happen and they will make it good to be sure. I understand your disappointment but we all make mistakes every day. Let us know how you like the Micarta one when you get it. I have an older large micarta and really...really like it.

And don't forget to update this to let everyone know if KnifeArt took care of the mistake.

It wouldn't be fair if they did but you left this post hanging without a conclusion.

Personally, I have never had problems purchasing knives from KnifeArt over the past 10 years.

I've dealt with Larry and would do so again in a heartbeat! Mess-ups happen. Its how they are remedied.

The Sebbie is on its way back to KnifeArt, I should have the right one by Wed or Thurs. They were very apologetic and they also covered return shipping. I will post another update when I got my correct Sebenza.

Excellent! There are some really good people here, and if you give them time to respond, your problems will be solved 99.9999% of the time!

one week is not a long time to wait for a knife to arrive at all, knifeart is done right by me in the past and i bet you anything they will do right by you, i find this things to be handle in private with makers or dealers to give them a chance to solve things before going public , it can ruin a man's livelihood with a post like this, imagine it was your business, the honor system is all we got here in this small community.
