I've played 240 games, my win rate is 98%.

What is the average %?

Anyhow, I'd like to begin to share results here with you all, since my wife is tired of humoring me when it comes to these puzzles.

I've been playing this game off and on since it started but in the last several months I've been hooked.

You'll find a lot of very good Wordle players here.

I started playing Wordle in December 2021 but I've played all of the Wordle puzzles going back to June 19, 2021 before the NYT bought Wordle and shut down the Wordle Archive that allowed you to play past games.

For the past 265 games starting on March 1, 2022, my solve rate is 100% and my average score is 3.54. It wasn't as good before that.

My current distribution of scores is:

4 choices after the 2nd guess but the only one
that I thought of as AXIOM. Per WordleBot,
the others were: AMINO, AMIGO & AXION.

The final NYT average was: 4.2

started oct 3 this year at wife‘s challenge with no thought to strategy
TERMS my first guess
she told me that was a stupid opening word, “I said ouch, that stings” typed in sting for grins……..BINGO, my first game, scored a two she was not amused

then I read up on strategy, and nosedived
now play a combination of gut vs mathematical equation

don’t play the same opening word daily, have 10-15 favorites that I rotate depending on mood
also cannot look at this thread until I’ve played, knowing the starting words of some here………even blank blocks tell a story

also play it on paper, then enter my choice after writing down a word that feels right.

That's kind of why I stopped posting my solutions. I use the same starting word daily, and as you say even blanks tell a story. Like you, I wait until after I've played for the day to check in here and see how everyone else did. "Most" days it seems Richard338 and I are on the same page and makes me smile in the morning. We almost always get it in the same number of guesses, although I'm sure we're using different words to get there.

I’ve been playing for awhile, but I skipped a few weeks somewhere along the way. I’ve played “hard mode” for almost all the games, not realizing that I didn’t have to use the discovered words when I was playing normal mode anyway. My record is among the weaker ones amongst players here, but I admit that some to just throw caution to the wind and fly by the seat of my pants.
