On Playing Wordle . . .

BTW: I really enjoy discussing our different approaches to solving these word puzzles because it helps to learn how to solve these puzzles better.

Just posting your grid & score in blank really isn't informative or helpful in this regard. If this is all that was possible, I wouldn't bother.

personally I enjoy both the analysis posts and the silent exchanges of victory and sorrow
funny how one look…………”yeah I did that also πŸ€¬β€

Two choices after the 2nd guess. In this case, I
chose the 1 that I considered the more obscure.

The current NYT average for this puzzle is 3.9.
WordleBot solved it in 3, as did I. :)

The reason that I use the vowel approach is because
I'll know in 2 guesses what all the vowels in the word
are, including the Y which is a "wobbler" that can be
used as a vowel when AEIOU are not used.

So, it was immediately apparent that the word in this
puzzle was a 5 letter non-vowel word of which there
are many: See: 5 Letter Words With No Vowels.

But, in this case, the consonants in my starter words
limited the choices to just 3: GLYPH, LYMPH & NYMPH.

I immediately chose GLYPH because it was the 1st word
that occurred to me but it was also the better choice because
if it wasn't the right word, it would have eliminated LYMPH
leaving NYMPH as the only possible answer.

The final NYT average for this puzzle was 3.9.
WordleBot solved it in 4.

35 choices after the 2nd guess; only 2 after the 3rd.
Didn't have to think of the other.

The current NYT average is: 4.4.
WordleBot's score was: 4

Only 2 choices after the 2nd.

Again, didn't have to think of the other which was
ALERT but, if I did, I would have chosen AVERT as
the more obscure of the 2.

The final NYT average was: 3.9
WordleBot's score was: 3
