I was a mess starting out, all over the place, had tried over 20 starting words including TRIED
now use the best starting word 😉

Could have been either. Just lucky to pick the right 1.

I think this was actually my only choice. I had like a 90% confidence in the vowel pattern, and this was literally the only word I could think of. I even searched a word list with the vowel combination I believed it was. It was funny because it was another example of me overthinking my word choices. I am pretty sure with the vowel combination it almost had to be after my first guess that this was actually the only word choice.

EDIT: Actually I looked, and excluding word types that Wordle doesn't allow as solutions to the best of our knowledge, there were at least four words.
