I'm contemplating quitting hard mode. It's not really 'hard' per se, it's basically the same difficulty as regular mode except for those instances like today where you must then brute-force crack the word of the day instead of using an eliminator and just hope you guess right before you run out of tries, which in some ways is a lot simpler than figuring out a good eliminator word but also not really 'harder,' just simple luck.

I play it by hard rules without ever having bothered to switch to hard. I'd like to feel smart about today but basically there is a lot of luck involved.
