Back on track for Day 1,000. Challenging solve and to come up with a second guess, but an uncommon yellow placed well on my second guess left me only one choice for my third.

keep a handwritten log of over 500 games played with same start word, I refer to it while playing for past solutions
Example, today’s puzzle pattern (with my start word) gave me a center yellow only, same as puzzle 401 on 11/7, so I play the same second word consistently until* it is the solution.


*until bolded because it was my go to with a single center yellow UNTIL it became the solution on 11/2 game 396

Nah, I'm just razzing y'all. Kinda how I like playing on hard mode. When I do well, it's extra bragging rights, and when I don't, it's an excuse.

That is an impressive system. I did look it up online, to make sure my starter word hadn't won yet, just so I keep the possibility of a "hole in one." Then I'll change it.
