On Playing Wordle . . .

Choice between 2 words on the 3rd guess
based on the letter pattern that I chose 1st.
Chose the wrong word for a Par. :(

However, there were 6 other possibilities
based on 5 other letter patterns that could
really mess you up.

The current NYT average is 4.7.

08/27/2022: Wordle 434 3/6 RUDER

Odd word but only one that fit the letter
pattern UDER that I thought of first that
just happened to be the right one.

However, there were 5 other possibilities --
all wrong -- based on 2 other letterpatterns
that could also mess you up.

The final NYT average was 4.6.

Not much to go on but more than enough to
score an Birdie. Coulda been an Eagle if I
was paying attention. ;)

The current NYT average is 3.6.

Only 2 possibilities using _AU_E as the letter
pattern. Could been a Bridie if I chose GAUZE 1st
or even an Eagle if I had been paying attn. 🤷‍♂️

But at least 6 other possibilities based on the
use of different letter patterns which is probably
why the final NYT average was 4.7.

Given the past 2 puzzles, I may start trying to solve
future puzzles after the 1st starter word if there
seem to be enough letters to do so. We'll see . . .
