Does anyone know if Eric is still in business? I went to the site and it's not acting like it's active any longer. There was a sheath I wanted made...if you guys know it would be appreciated.

I don't know what's going on either.
I love his work, but maybe he's just getting tired of making sheaths, and wants to try something new.:(

Joe, as far as I know, Eric closed up shop a while back.

Do you know what the reason was?.
It would have been nice if he could have come on here and told us himself though, instead of keeping everyone wondering.

Thanks for the replies...sounds like the place is closed...too bad since friends have said he was good.

My question, however, is why move this query to Good, Bad, and Ugly? I don't HAVE those 'experiences'. I just wanted to know if anyone had information since the site didn't have pics or updates...

That would be a real shame. I had Eric make sheaths for my F1 and Dozier K1, and IMHO he is one of the best in the business.

Eric closing up shop was a big loss to lovers of kydex sheaths. This is especially true for Canadians, as we're now forced to go south of the border which increases our costs. I believe Eric had a lot of American customers as well because his work was top notch and amazingly affordable. I'm kicking myself for not ordering every sheath I was interested in, while the getting was good. [ thanks so much to my wife for her; "can't you space your purchases out over time?"]

I think he ripped me off. I was in contact with him about ordering one of his LaGriffe Operators kits and he said he would make it right away. I sent money on the 8th and I haven't recived anything and there is no response to any of my e-mails. His site is still up and he was in contact with me up until I sent the cash....

You sent money on the 8th. asking him to make a sheath and youre here posting about a rip off on the 21st.?

He said it would be done in a couple days. It's all good though he is having some health issues at home so I don't mind it being late. It's on it's way now.

The Sheath system has arrived and it is amazing. On-Scene Tactical is still open for business and this is some seriously incredible gear. Eric is still having some problems at home the waiting time is a little longer but thats not an issue. for On-Scene Tactical.
