you've supported me since the beginning! There's a lot of stuff I forget, but never that stuffLorien , I’ve wanted one of your Cormorants, since the first one you posted. That said, I have never owned a Wharncliffe, so please consider me in on one. I’ll keep my eye out when this turns into a pre-order. Maybe I’ll score both.

Thanks for the reply Lorien. Please keep me on the list for one of those two when you start working on them in earnest after catching up whatever open backorders you have. You can fill me in on the specs then.thanks Phil!
I've been dialing in that one for quite a while now, it's taken many different forms over the years and I'm happy so far with the profile you see here. The next step is to turn it into a useable knife so I can find out for sure if it fits the bill. A small, tough knife that I'm hoping will do most of the things someone would expect of something like that.
It's a little frustrating, having an actual job now. Being a bike mechanic, (at 50+ years old) isn't easy work and I find myself pretty cooked at the end of each work day. There's been a lot of home projects to get on top of as well, and they've been eating up my time on my days off, but most of that stuff is finally squared away and next month I'm hoping to go down to 3 days a week at the bike shop and really start cranking stuff out.
Cool thing: one of those outdoor projects was building a covered area outdoors which will become a smithy!
I feel bad for the guys who I've made commitments to before I took the bike shop job- the wait must be frustrating- and I'm working hard to get them squared away. That's why I never take payment in advance!
my man- that is so nice of you to say, and I really appreciate it!Hoping that you heal quickly and don't let all of your obligations get to you. Universal energies may be suggesting that you take a little break after mending, even just a day or two. You're a dedicated, hardworking dude Lorien.![]()
