Pictures here! On the Bench

I've been working on my grinding room for the past month, among other things, and I finally got it more or less done today. Happy dance up in here!

felt awesome to fire up the grinder today! It's been a long wait.
I've had this lignum vitae timber for about 20 years, and actually made my very first two knives using it for the handles. This scrap piece is my new slicker now.
ground about 2/5s of this piece into dust, a good test for the dust filter system. Found a couple breaches which are easy fixes, so looks like I'm pretty much back in business.
