. Don't give up on the woodsman Andy, albeit time off can be a good thing. For many of us out there, it is one of the profiles that brought us to fiddleback forge. While I'm sure creating such an epic pattern can at times be downright maddening, it makes for a pretty amazing knife, and IMO one of the best >5" bushcrafting profiles on the market today :thumbup:
Oh, and to the OP -- sorry for the delayed response; I have been on work travel.. I've owned multiple models of each and honestly, you cannot go wrong with either. In the end, if you process game or want any sort of versatility go with the duke.. If you want a dedicated, bad @$$ bushcraft knife that is both aesthetically pleasing and amazingly functional bar none go with the woodsman; they are truly amazing in person.
(note, she's a lot dirtier these days)
