On the Road Again with Merle

I love the idea of a pass around! I'm not sure I'll be in the same location as we may end up moving for a job in the coming months, but I'd love to follow along as Merle takes the rounds. Perhaps I could jump in if there gets to be a second round?

Joshua, you’re more than welcome to join in if you’d like. When I signed up for the Pearl thread, we were still living in Arizona and had no idea we’d be moving to Minnesota. By the time my turn came around, we had moved and had been here a couple months. I was a little nervous about showing off a place I was barely familiar with, but it actually turned out to be an awesome way to get out and explore our new home. :thumbsup:

All that talk of backside etc. The name Merle in Europe would be very much associated with the female :) But then, you Americans are kind of mixed up about names....;) Marion as a man??? Think John Wayne:D And Ivy....o_O However, many Finnish male names end in 'A' which is usually female elsewhere.. Jukka, Pekka, Ilkka, Tapsa ym.ym.

Whatever, Project Merle is off to a flying start!

Just kidding. This does remind me of a Flat Stanley that my daughter did. While visiting Canada Stanley was dropped by the mail man. A stranger found him on the street and kept it going, even sending some pictures.
